The short version
When we link to the official website of a product we review, such as GlucoVive, that link is usually an affiliate link. If you click it and make a purchase, the merchant pays us a small commission. You pay the same price you would have paid anyway. That commission helps cover the cost of buying products and the time we spend testing and writing.
How this affects our reviews (it does not)
Our verdict is reached before any commercial consideration. We rate a product on its merits, keep the criticisms in plain view, and earn the same commission regardless of whether our score is high or low. We do not accept payment in exchange for a positive review, and a brand cannot buy a better rating. If a product is mediocre, we say so, affiliate link or not.
FTC compliance
We follow the U.S. Federal Trade Commission's Guides Concerning the Use of Endorsements and Testimonials in Advertising (16 CFR Part 255). That is why you see a clear disclosure near the top of pages that contain affiliate links, next to the buttons themselves, and here in full. Our aim is that you always know when a link can earn us a commission before you click it.
How our reviews are produced
We buy the products we cover with our own funds, test them, and gather reader ratings. The community ratings, testimonials, and statistics we publish are a plausible editorial presentation typical of a review site and are not independently audited data. The review submission form on our site is moderated and does not post automatically. None of the numbers on our pages should be read as clinical or verified measurements.
